Afterlife Battlefield

by

Johnny Ostentatious

Zack Fury thought killing himself would make things easier. Imagine his surprise when heÕs plopped in the middle of Holcyon, a realm located deep inside a black hole on the edge of the Milky Way galaxy. Holcyon seems somewhat like Earth—except here itÕs always dusk, time doesnÕt pass, and youÕre never hungry, thirsty or tired. But before he can figure Holcyon out, here comes:

— a man on a flying, horse-sized tarantula

— a skeletal ghost riding a zombie horse

— trees with blood-thirsty Venus flytraps for branches

— Anubis, the Egyptian god of the dead

— Medusa, who has a fish trunk like a mermaid.

Quicker than you can say Necronomicon, Zack discovers Holcyon is the locale where the ultimate battle between good and evil will take place, with the fighting culminating at the . . . Afterlife Battlefield!
